Bryn Cumberland 

Bryn’s passion for movement and body mechanics began early in life through his involvement in traditional sports like basketball, distance running, and weight lifting. As a former collegiate athlete, he credits Pilates with helping him understand the critical importance of spinal flexibility and stability—key elements that often go overlooked in conventional sports training.

Pilates has been transformative in Bryn’s own injury recovery journey, reinforcing his belief that it offers a safe, restorative way to move every day. In October 2023, he completed PCS’s comprehensive teacher training program and became a certified Pilates instructor.

Bryn brings a strong anatomical focus and whole-body perspective to his teaching. He specializes in helping clients build a solid foundation using the basic principles of the classical Pilates system. His approach supports long-term strength, mobility, and functional movement.

In addition to teaching Pilates, Bryn is also a certified massage therapist, further enhancing his understanding of the body and its needs. He’s honored to be part of a Pilates-loving community and is excited to share his knowledge and passion with others.
